Interested in participating in the UW Urban Canid Project? There are several ways to get involved:

Donate: With research funding becoming more and more scarce, we are attempting to diversify our funding sources by starting a University of Wisconsin-Madison gift account to support our project. Your tax-deductible gift would help to purchase equipment like radio collars, hire field technicians, and ultimately help us continue to learn more urban canids. Click here to donate!

Report a sighting: If you see a coyote or fox in Madison, please report it using our iNaturalist project. It only takes a few minutes and gives researchers valuable location data! Click here to get started!

Volunteer: Trapping season usually runs from November-April. The UW Urban Canid Project invites any members of the public along on morning trap checks. Keep an eye on the Facebook for updates!
